Qualified music tutor with enhanced CRB/DBS and years of experience in teaching and performance.

I teach guitar (Classical, Flamenco to Rock & Pop) including preperation for ABRSM Grade exams. I also teach bass guitar and drum kit, music theory, music production, composition and music technology.

All Instrumental lessons include learning how to sight read, music theory, and the practice of traditional and modern techniques.

My Classical guitar background and training stems from the late Dr Ronald Purcell, professor and head of the guitar department at California State University of Northridge and long time pupil and friend of Andre Segovia.

My Flamenco guitar background and training stems from the late Benito Palacios, well known in the Hollywood traditional Flamenco music community and student of the late Sabicas.

My Pop and Rock background stems from my professional history with famous artists such as Serj Tankian, Scars on Broadway of which are both side projects of System of a Down, Groove Junkies and Basement Jaxx.

My composition and music technology background stem from my professional history composing for interactive media and TV in Hollywood and London such as Radium Audio ltd., Now Press Play, The Jacksons, Bio Channel, SiTV and video games such as Saints Row by THQ.

Education: BMus in music composition, equivalent to Grade 8 in USA university levels in Classical and Jazz guitar, and LCM certificates in Studio Techniques.

All lessons will be specifically tailored to the pupil's needs and desires with a set course and goals.

£30 per hour at my lovely Georgian private studio in Gipsy Hill SE19.
£40 per hour for home visits. Home visits must be local to the Dulwich area.
